John Fullylove
1845-1908

 

'Architectural' Fulleylove trained as an architect in Leicester before turning to painting professionally. 

He became well-known for his skilful topographical views and had an important one-man exhibition in London in 1896. He was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour. 

There are examples of his work in the Tate Galley, the British Museum, The Royal Institute of Architects and other collections. From 1903 – 1906, he was the President of the Oxford Art Society.

Some of John Fulleylove’s watercolours are preserved in the Government Art Collection. Others are currently valued by the Art Prices Index at £460 - £2585.
